Requirements for Indian nurses to work in the UK

  • Be a fully qualified nurse

    You must be a fully qualified nurse with a nursing degree and at least one year experience in a nursing role.

  • Prove your English Language skills
    IELTS with minimum score of 7 in speaking, listening and reading and 6.5 in writing or

    OET with minimum grade of B in speaking, listening and reading and C+ in writing

  • Complete NMC Eligibility and Qualification Application

    Online account will need to be created to complete eligibility and qualification applications. NMC will confirm eligibility for registration within 2 - 3 weeks. Our experts will help you complete the NMC process.


    What is NMC?

    The Nursing and Midwifery Council are an organisation which regulates nurses and midwives in the United Kingdom, and nursing associates in England. They set standards, hold a register, quality assure education and investigate complaints.

  • Take the computer based test (CBT)

    Employers assign the CoS once the CBT exam is cleared
